When Stranger & Sons, one of India’s first craft gin brands, approached us to extend their brand vision we knew we had something completely novel and exciting on our hands. This was back in the days when gin was mostly foreign, and small, local artisanal stills were just starting to make gentle waves. 
Here was our chance to roll up our sleeves, jump ahead of the curve and engage in some serious world building.

THE CHALLENGE

Gins in the market at the time were either low-quality grogs with a strong acetone-like finish, or imported and expensive – out of reach for most consumers. Stranger & Sons wanted to fill the yawning gap with a high quality, accessible gin that was full of nuance – in flavour and story. A gin that fully embraced its Indian spirit. No rules, Just pure creative chaos– that’s what our partnership with Stranger & Sons was like.
